K-pop girl group IVE is set to headline Lollapalooza Berlin this July, marking another major milestone in their global rise.
According to an official announcement from Lollapalooza Berlin’s social media on February 19 (local time), IVE will perform as a headliner at the world-renowned music festival, taking place on July 12–13 at the Olympiastadion Berlin in Germany.
The star-studded lineup also includes global artists like Justin Timberlake, Gracie Abrams, and BTS’s J-Hope. As one of the headlining acts, IVE is expected to deliver a high-energy performance that will further elevate the status of K-pop on the global stage.
Originally launched in 1991 in Chicago, Lollapalooza has grown into one of the world’s biggest music festivals, with editions in the United States, France, Chile, Brazil, and beyond. The Berlin festival is set to host an audience of approximately 74,000 at its massive venue.
This isn’t IVE’s first Lollapalooza appearance. In August 2023, they made history as the only K-pop girl group invited to Lollapalooza Chicago. Despite it being their festival debut, IVE captivated audiences with a 45-minute set featuring 11 songs, complete with live band performances and flawless choreography, earning praise for their dynamic stage presence.
Major U.S. media outlets like Rolling Stone, Chicago Sun-Times, and Billboard highlighted IVE’s success at Lollapalooza Chicago, calling them a rising force in the global festival scene.
Building on that momentum, IVE will also perform at Lollapalooza Paris on July 20, becoming the only K-pop girl group to be invited to the festival twice. With the addition of the Berlin show, IVE is now set to make their third appearance at Lollapalooza—an unprecedented achievement for a K-pop girl group.
Most recently, IVE wrapped up promotions for their third mini-album “IVE EMPATHY”, solidifying their international popularity. The album ranked on Billboard’s World Albums chart, while the pre-release single “REBEL HEART” maintained its position on both the Global 200 and Global Excl. U.S. charts for four consecutive weeks.
Another title track, “ATTITUDE”, also made a strong impact, landing in the Top 10 of Spotify’s Top Songs Debut Global chart. With several global hits under their belt, anticipation is high for IVE’s upcoming Lollapalooza performances in Berlin and Paris this summer.
