I Feel Like I’m Going to Die From Frustration… Jang Dong-min’s Anger & Kim Jun-ho’s Struggle on a 16-Hour Sleeper Train

The “Dokbakz” from “My Money, My Trip 3” board a sleeper train from Cairo to Aswan in Egypt.

The 26th episode of “My Money, My Trip 3” (co-produced by Channel S, SK Broadband, K·Star, and NXT), airing on the 22nd, will feature the “Dokbakz” wrapping up their Cairo tour and heading to Aswan to visit the Abu Simbel Temples.

In the upcoming episode, after enjoying a hearty meal at a Korean restaurant in Egypt, the “Dokbakz” ask Hong In-gyu, who was responsible for booking accommodations for the third day, about their next stay. Hong replies, “Since you guys wanted to see the Abu Simbel Temples, I booked a place nearby. But it’s pretty far — we need to take a sleeper train for 16 hours.”

Jang Dong-min is shocked to learn that Aswan is 1,160 km away from Cairo and exclaims, “We took a 17-hour flight from Korea, and now we have to travel another 16 hours?” sighing in disbelief. Meanwhile, Kim Dae-hee raises a question ahead of their classic “who-pays” game, asking, “Is this (the sleeper train) considered lodging or transportation?”

As Kim Dae-hee, Hong In-gyu, and Yoo Se-yoon argue that it should count as lodging, Jang Dong-min firmly disagrees, saying, “Of course it’s transportation!”

With the debate heating up, Yoo Se-yoon suggests, “Let’s post a poll on my social media asking if it’s ‘lodging’ or ‘transportation,’ and we’ll check the results when we get off the train. Whoever guesses right will be exempt from paying.” The “Dokbakz” agree to this plan.

After boarding the sleeper train at Bashtil Station, the group inspects the single and double rooms. Jang Dong-min, visibly frustrated, shouts, “What is this? We have to stay here for 16 hours?” before dramatically throwing the camera. On the other hand, Hong In-gyu tries to stay positive, saying, “At least it’s a connecting room!” Meanwhile, the eldest members, Kim Dae-hee and Kim Jun-ho, groan, “This is suffocating—I feel like I’m going to die.”

The “Dokbakz” eventually fall asleep in the cramped train. The next morning, they eagerly anticipate the poll results. Yoo Se-yoon reveals, “A lot of people responded to my post, and even T-ara’s Hyomin chimed in, saying, ‘If it’s transportation, then don’t sleep on the train!’” hinting at a victory for the “lodging” side.

With Hyomin’s support, Yoo Se-yoon grows confident. Viewers are left wondering—will he win the sleeper train debate?

“My Money, My Trip 3” airs at 8:20 PM.
