Comedian Kim Jun-hyun revealed that he had an accident during a live broadcast.
Recently, a video titled “Running Out During Filming” was uploaded to YouTube channel ‘Im Ha-ryong Show’.
In the video, when asked “Have you ever had an accident on air?” Kim Jun-hyun answered, “I did it hard. I get dizzy every time I talk about it.”
“I was an anchor on ‘SNL Korea’ when I was doing a news segment. It was a live broadcast and there was an audience, but I really needed to poop. My stomach was growling, and it was the first time I’d ever felt such a big gurgle in my life,” he recalled.
“If I pooped here, I would have had to emigrate. So I sent a signal to the assistant director and said, ‘I don’t know,’ and left during the live broadcast. Eventually, a different screen appeared and I disappeared,” he explained.
Kim Jun-hyun said, “I went to the bathroom and banged and banged, but it was live and I was so happy,” causing laughter.
“But after I went to the bathroom, I thought, ‘What should I do? Should I just go home?’ I had all kinds of thoughts.”
Kim Jun-hyun said, “Fortunately, Jeong Sang-hoon hyung handled it really well. He said, ‘Kim Tul-le went to take a shit, hey,’ while speaking fake Chinese. He made me laugh so much that I went to the bathroom and came back and got a huge round of applause from the audience.”
“It’s an experience I never want to experience again. That’s why I hardly ever eat food when I’m on live TV.”
